Alphabet & Letter Puzzles
Letters that come out, go back and get named out loud.
An alphabet puzzle does two jobs at once: it teaches the shape of a letter and it teaches that the letter belongs in one particular place. That is why it outsells flashcards in the early-years market — the child is doing something with the letter, not looking at it.
The range covers uppercase boards, lowercase boards, mixed letter-and-number boards, spelling card sets and bilingual versions. Most are cut as lift-out pieces with a painted or printed letter underneath, so a child can match by shape before they can read. Boards are 9 to 12 mm plywood with rounded corners; letters are sized to pass the small-parts test for the age band stated on each product.
Buyers usually take alphabet puzzles in a mixed pack: one uppercase board, one lowercase board, one number board and one spelling set. Preschools buy them by the dozen; gift shops buy the boxed versions. If you need a specific language or script, the print is the easy part — the die line stays the same.
Letter shapes follow a rounded sans style that matches most early-years handwriting schemes; custom scripts and bilingual sets are printed to order.
